Once again we asked all the participants to share their favourite pre-surf pump-up song. The Bitches ‘n Barrels 2024 playlist is the weirdest yet. We can’t wait for you to check it out.
2022 SPOTIFY PLAYLIST
In 2022 we asked all the participants what their favourite pre-surf pump up song was and we are SO excited to share the ultimate playlist to get you stoked for all your winter surf adventures.
This very eclectic playlist is 3 hours long, making it perfect for a rip to Sombrio and back, or for when you're stuck in the never-ending construction on Kennedy Hill.
So download the playlist, get hyped, grab your galpals, and go surf
2023 Spotify Playlist
Again in 2023 we asked for everyone’s favourite surf banger, and the Bitches ‘n Barrels 2023 playlist we compiled does not disappoint. Give it a download and a listen to get fired up before your next session!

Episode 11: Bitches ‘n Barrels
Melissa Morrison is the founder of Bitches 'n Barrels, a non-profit organization based in the frigid waters off Vancouver Island dedicated to getting women out surfing...so really it's nice gals and small waves. In a sport heavily male-dominated, it's so refreshing to see someone like Melissa creating a safe space for women to enjoy, play, and feel empowered in the ocean at various levels in their surfing journeys. BnB is helping turn the tide by changing the look, but more importantly, the energy of surf lineups one woman at a time.
